Online Mental Performance Coaching, Built Into an 18-Week Course
The CoreCraft Method is the high-performance system Niel Geyser built over 20 years in championship fight camps and boardrooms. It’s the methodology behind his coaching of former UFC Middleweight Champion Dricus du Plessis. Now anyone serious about performing can learn it: one pair of concepts at a time, a week to understand it and a week to practise it.
Created by Niel Geyser · Grappling and mental performance coach to former UFC champion Dricus du Plessis · 3rd Degree BJJ black belt · 80+ codified performance frameworks
What this is
A course you live, not one you binge.
Most courses give you everything on day one, and by Friday it’s gone. This one gives you two concepts at a time.
In the first week you learn them: short video lessons, an audio version for the car or the gym, and a guide you can print and write on. In the second week you use them in your real moments, with the CoreCraft app guiding your mornings, your evenings and the moments that matter. Then the next pair opens.
Four layers. Nine pairs. Eighteen weeks. You move up when the work is lived, not when the calendar says so.
How it works
How the course works
1. Join the waitlist
Enrolment opens soon. Then it's R500 a month, paid securely on this website through Payfast. No sign-up fee, no contract.
2. Get your sign-in link
It arrives by email straight after payment. Install the CoreCraft app from your phone's browser; no app store involved. Start Here takes about 20 minutes.
3. Start Week 1 the same day
The course is self-paced. There are no intake dates, and everyone starts at Week 1.
4. Learn, then practise
A theory week, then a practice week. A new pair of concepts opens every two weeks.
5. Graduate each layer
At the end of each layer you check yourself against what success looks like and answer four reflection questions in the app. Nobody approves you. You're the judge.
6. Earn your Black Belt
Graduate all four layers and you're invited into the Black Belt group.
The two-week rhythm
A week to understand. A week to practise.
Theory week
Watch: two short video lessons, one for each concept.
Listen: audio versions of both lessons, for the car, the gym or a walk.
Read: a printable guide with the frameworks and a worksheet.
Do: your morning and evening routine in the app.
Practice week
Watch: a practice briefing on using this pair this week.
Listen: short voice notes during the week: what to try today.
Read: a one-page field guide: when to use it, and what to watch for.
Do: the pair's tools in real moments, then your Saturday Weekly Debrief.
Time needed
About 20–30 minutes of lessons a week.
Plus daily practice of a few seconds or minutes at a time, built into the moments you’re already in: a morning intention, an evening reflection, and the tools you use when it counts.
The curriculum
Four layers. Nine pairs. One methodology.
The course is built from the 80+ codified frameworks of Niel’s system. Each layer builds on the one below, and you move to the next layer when you’ve graduated the one before it.
Layer 1 · Foundation (weeks 1–4)
Know who you are before you add any tool. Foundation separates you from your thoughts, your history and your roles, so that everything after it has something solid to stand on.
Pair 1: The Observer and the I Am
Pair 2: Not Your History, and Free and Responsible
Layer 2 · Inner Technology (weeks 5–8)
Run your inner world instead of being run by it. Direct your self-talk, use emotion as energy, put a pause between trigger and response, and see your beliefs as filters rather than facts.
Pair 3: The Mind Is a Muscle, and Energy in Motion
Pair 4: The Pause, and Your Filters
Layer 3 · Operating System (weeks 9–12)
Organise your life so it can be run on purpose. Map it into Subjects and Moments, engage to experience rather than to perform, trace results back to their root, and simplify when life gets complicated.
Pair 5: Subjects, Moments and the Trinity, and Experience and Express
Pair 6: Your Formula and Your Backpack, and Sift and Sort
Layer 4 · Strategy & Navigation (weeks 13–18)
Set up and play the moments that matter. Prepare by principle, play your own game, sort what you can control, frame the game before you play it, and turn fear into forward motion.
Pair 7: Dynamic, Not Static, and Context Architecture
Pair 8: Play the Ball, and the Circle of Control
Pair 9: The Win/Win Game Frame, and From Fear to Excitement
Layer 5 · Applied Expression is the Black Belt layer. It isn’t part of the course: it’s what you do with the method once it’s who you are.
The CoreCraft app
Where the work happens
Your lessons, your practice and your progress, in one place on your phone. Install it from your phone’s browser on iPhone or Android, or use it on your laptop. No app store, no extra cost. What you write is private to you.
This week
Your videos, audio lessons, voice notes and guides, opened on schedule.
Morning and evening
Set an intention in the morning; rate your day and reflect in the evening.
Set up a Moment
Prepare for the moment that matters before you walk into it, then log what happened.
The Tool Drawer
Six in-the-moment tools, including the Moment Protocol, the Fork Method, the Game Frame and the Curiosity Switch.
Weekly Debrief
Every Saturday, look back on the week and set your next starting point.
Reminders, offline
Reminders at the times you choose, and it works offline.
Graduation
You can't buy a Black Belt. You earn it.
Graduation in the CoreCraft Method isn’t a certificate for watching videos. At the end of each layer you hold yourself up against what success looks like for every lesson, honestly, in at least half the moments it applies. Then you answer four questions about where the layer has shown up in your life.
Graduate all four layers and you get access to the CoreCraft network of high performers and the Black Belt group: a private WhatsApp group of high performers that supports, stimulates, directs and pushes you towards your own goals. This is Layer 5, Applied Expression, where the method is lived in your own arenas.
Staying a member: your membership continues at R500 per month. That keeps your place in the Black Belt group and your access to the whole course, including every update to the content.

What membership opens up
From the day you join, you’re eligible for:

After you graduate: access to the CoreCraft network of high performers, and the Black Belt group.
Who it's for
One methodology. Every arena.
Business, sport, family, inner work. The methodology works on you, not on your job title. The arena you’re in decides how you apply it.
01 · The Builder
Founder, entrepreneur, operator.
You are building something that demands more of you than you were trained for. The pressure is real and so are the stakes. You need the mental infrastructure to carry it without losing yourself in it.
02 · The Professional
Executive, leader, specialist.
You have performed well. Now you want to perform consistently — across stressful quarters, across long cycles, across the moments that used to derail you. You want less friction, not more content.
03 · The Competitor
Athlete, fighter, performer.
Your body is trained. Your physical system is understood. What is still inconsistent is your mental one. You know the mental side is the margin — you just haven’t had a system to work on it.
04 · The Partner & Parent
In the relationships that matter most.
Career mastery does not automatically translate to the people you come home to. You want to be as intentional there as you are at work — with tools for the moments that usually go sideways.
05 · The Returner
Rebuilding, deliberately.
Something knocked you off. Illness, loss, burnout, failure. You are not looking for a pep talk. You are looking for a methodology that respects the reality of what happened and helps you rebuild from the ground up.
Coaching isn’t therapy. If you’re dealing with a mental-health concern, speak to a registered psychologist or your doctor.
06 · The Practitioner
Serious about inner work.
You have read the books, taken the courses, tried the apps. What you’re missing is a structured path that doesn’t loop you through the same surface content, and a way to practise it until it sticks.
Who created it
Forged in real arenas
Niel Geyser didn’t develop the CoreCraft Method in a classroom. He refined it in UFC fight camps, championship cages and boardrooms. He is a Judo black belt and 3rd Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, South African Judo and Kurash champion, African World Pro BJJ champion, and a bronze medallist at the World Pro Jiu-Jitsu Championships in Abu Dhabi. He is the grappling and mental performance coach behind Dricus du Plessis’s UFC Middleweight Championship, and he has coached professional golfers, cyclists and C-suite executives.
The CoreCraft Method puts 20 years of that work into a course anyone can take.

What is the CoreCraft Method course?
The CoreCraft Method is an 18-week online mental performance course built on Niel Geyser’s methodology, the work behind his coaching of former UFC champion Dricus du Plessis and C-suite executives. It covers four layers, Foundation, Inner Technology, Operating System, and Strategy & Navigation, taught as nine pairs of concepts. Each pair takes two weeks: a theory week to understand it and a practice week to use it in real situations with the CoreCraft app.
How much does the course cost?
The course costs R500 per month, billed monthly through Payfast on the CoreCraft website. There is no sign-up fee and no contract. At the fastest pace the course takes 18 weeks, which is five monthly payments, or R2,500. You pay monthly until you graduate, so taking longer simply means more months.
How long does the course take?
The course takes 18 weeks at the fastest pace. A new pair of concepts opens every two weeks, and you move into the next layer once you have graduated the one before it. Most people take a little longer, because you move up when the work is lived, not when the calendar says so.
When can I start?
Enrolment opens soon: join the waitlist and we’ll email you the moment you can start. After that you can start any day. The course is self-paced, so there are no intake dates. Everyone starts at Week 1, and your weeks are counted from the day you join.
What is the difference between a theory week and a practice week?
In a theory week you learn two concepts through short video lessons, audio versions you can listen to anywhere, and a printable guide with a worksheet. In the practice week that follows, you use those concepts in real moments, guided by a practice briefing, short voice notes during the week and the CoreCraft app’s daily routine. The practice week ends with your Weekly Debrief in the app.
Do I need the CoreCraft app, and where do I get it?
Yes. The CoreCraft app is where your lessons, daily practice and progress live. It is installed from your phone’s browser, not from an app store: on Android, tap Install; on iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It also works in a browser on your laptop. The app is included in your membership.
How do I graduate?
At the end of each layer you check yourself in the app against what success looks like for every lesson in that layer, and answer four reflection questions. Nobody grades or approves you. You are the judge, and the method only works if you are honest with yourself. When you graduate Layer 4, you have completed the course.
What happens after I graduate?
Graduates get access to the CoreCraft network of high performers and are invited into the Black Belt group, a private WhatsApp group of high performers that supports, stimulates, directs and pushes you towards your own goals. To stay in the group, you keep your membership at R500 per month. That also keeps your access to the full course, including every update to the content. If you cancel, you leave the group.
What does membership include besides the course?
From the day you join, members are eligible for invitations to exclusive CoreCraft events and occasional live webinars, sent by email, and every update to the course. After graduating, members also get access to the CoreCraft network of high performers and the Black Belt group.
How do I cancel?
Log in to your account on the CoreCraft website, open Subscriptions and choose Cancel. No further payments are taken, and your access continues until the end of the month you have already paid for. Your practice history is kept, so if you come back you can pick up where you left off.
Is this one-on-one coaching with Niel?
No. The course is self-paced and delivered online, so it does not include individual sessions with Niel. Members are invited to occasional live webinars. Private one-on-one coaching is available separately, by application.
Can my team or company do the course together?
Yes. Teams pay the same price per seat as individuals and start the course together on a shared date, from five people up, with a package tailored to each team. The organisation sees group totals only, never any individual’s numbers or written answers. Contact CoreCraft through the teams page to set up a group.
Who can see what I write in the app?
What you write in the app, including your moments, debriefs and reflections, is private to you. If you are on a team, your organisation sees group totals only. You can export or delete your data from the app’s settings at any time.
Can I join from outside South Africa?
Yes. The course and the app are fully online, so you can join from anywhere. Membership is billed in South African rand.
Is this therapy?
No. CoreCraft is performance coaching, not psychological treatment. If you are dealing with a mental-health concern, please speak to a registered psychologist or your doctor.
